Southwest France Private Vacation Rental

Our French farm, Gil is situated on 170 acres in Southwest France, 1 hour from Toulouse. It offers the best of two worlds, unparalleled privacy, tranquility and panoramic views while being just a few minutes drive from Cordes-Sur-Ciel, a town that blends its 13th century history with modern restaurants, cafes, shops, and more. In this rural area of France, homes don't have the traditional numerical address, they are given names. Our French farm retains the surname of one of its early owners "Gil."

We offer a renovated one-story 4,000 square foot stone barn (The Grange) that sleeps up to 12 comfortably and is a perfect venue for a family or group traveling together. Smaller groups can be accommodated as well.

While it has all the 21^st century amenities, the Grange retains the character and charm of a 200 year old stone building.

Pictured below is the main entrance to the house and the seating area in the great room in front of the Inglenook fireplace. Below to the right is the dining area and kitchen.

The pool is located a few steps from the main door. It is fully fenced with a self-closing locking gate. Lounge in the sun or sit in the shade of an umbrella or the new gazebo (not shown). There is a volleyball area and a large grassy area for other games.
	The Grange consists of 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms all fitted to American standards, a large modern kitchen opening onto a great room with a massive stone fireplace and comfortable seating. In addition, there is laundry room, BBQ area and terrace.
	The Department of the Tarn is the least populated area of France renowned for it's breathtaking scenery, mouth watering cuisine and history dating back to Augustus Cæsar. Here you will find the true soul of France.

Cordes-sur-Ciel (pictured below), one of the 50 Most Beautiful Villages in France is noted for its artisans and craftsman.

Gil not only makes the ideal family or group vacation but is an excellent venue for business or organizational retreats.

You will receive a welcome package after your reservations have been confirmed and your deposit has been paid. Either our English speaking agents or we will be on hand to greet you upon your arrival and will be available to assist you during your stay.
