Gil is owned by Jim and Pincy Polese, Americans who purchased the property in 2000.  They had vacationed often in France and wanted a permanent way to absorb the French culture and enjoy the cuisine. After several scouting expeditions throughout France, they decided on a property in the Department of the Tarn in Southwest France.  Here they found lush countryside,  warm and friendly people, and a wonderful year round climate.  This area of France was ideal.
